To the table

Winners of the Resident Thinker Competition

To the Table is a film created in collaboration with artists Shani Ali, Ilene Berman and Paul Bradley and the young artists of Room 13 Hareclive. As with Nowhereisland itself, the film and the table are each realised through the coming together of creators and the respectful exchange of ideas. The physical table of To the Table has become a centrepiece of Room 13 Hareclive and functions as a site for further collaboration and the exchange of ideas.

The artists would like to thank Calling the Shots, Bristol and Noelia Lopez for their help in making the film.

Room 13 Hareclive

Room 13 Hareclive is an award winning independent artists’ studio run by children, for children, based within the grounds of Hareclive Primary School in Hartcliffe, south Bristol. They are an innovative project with a unique approach, challenging ideas about the nature of art, artists, and what children and young people are capable of creating and achieving. Set up in 2003, the studio is the flagship Room 13 project for England and is part of the Room 13 International studio network.
