In Weymouth, we are working with Budmouth College who will follow the Arctic expedition’s progress and explore Nowhereisland across the school curriculum throughout 2011/12. The British Red Cross will also be supporting this work, running Nowhereisland related sessions in school on nation creation, migration, and humanitarian law. Our student hosts will be helping us to devise events and activities for the Embassy which will be located on Furzy Cliff, off the Esplanade during Nowhereisland’s residence in Bowleaze Cove.

Look out for more information on the Nowhereisland welcome and farewell activities during the London 2012 Olympic Games opening week of the sailing events in Weymouth and Portland in 2012.

In Weymouth, Nowhereisland is part of Maritime Mix, London 2012 Cultural Olympiad by the Sea.
